Hello, Super-Couponers! Deal Day is here again (and as you can see from the photo, my son is all fired up about this week’s sales!)
Actually, I thought my readers might enjoy a little peek into some of the crazy places my Deals feature gets written. This week, we spent an afternoon Monkey Joe’s, where the weather is always just right for indoor inflatable bouncing and the WiFi for parents is free :) And, with the holidays coming up, if your kids need a “fun-thing-to-do today” during their breaks, Monkey Joe’s is a pretty exciting place to go, especially on the cheap. If your kids like it too, print these Buy One, Get One Free and Half-Price Admission coupons! (Both my boys played for over five hours for under $10!)
A big welcome to everyone from my Bolingbrook class last week. And, to my new readers, if you’re interested in learning to save on almost everything you buy at the grocery store, why not attend a Super-Couponing workshop? Many are FREE, and in one hour you’ll learn how to cut your grocery bill 50-70%! This week’s Super-Couponing classes are taking place in Yorkville, Harwood Heights (Super Couponing 2,) Palatine and Mokena. Learn more!
This week’s newspaper contained two inserts: SmartSource (SS) and RedPlum (RP.)

Grocery Deals
Here’s a great deal on Kleenex that will have you taking it home super-cheap (just in time for cold season…)
Kleenex is on sale for $1 a box. There’s a national Catalina deal going on Kleenex (60ct. or larger) too — buy 4, get a $1 Catalina. Buy 5, get a $2 Catalina. Buy 6 or more and get a $3 Catalina.
Use coupons to bring this down even more! The 10/3 SS has a .50-off-3 coupon, and this deal works best if you have two coupons… with two, buy 6 boxes ($6.) After two coupons, pay $5 and get a $3 Catalina back. That’s $2 for 6 boxes, or about .33 a box! SUPER CHEAP!
OR, work the Buy 3, get the 4th box free coupon from 11/7 SS into this too. You can do the same deal as above, and just add an extra box for every 3 boxes you’ve got. You will still want to buy 6 boxes to maximize the deal, but if you get two sets of inserts, do the same deal with the .50-off-3s, but add two more boxes of Kleenex, one for each B3G1F coupon you have. Then you’re taking home 8 boxes for $2 – .25 a box!
If you get ONE newspaper a week, buy 6. Use the .50-off-3 from 10/3 SS and the Buy 3, get 4th free from 10/7 SS. Pay $4.50 and get $3 back – $1.50 for 6 boxes is also .25 a box!
Bird’s Eye Steamfresh frozen vegetables are $1 each. Use the “Buy Steamfresh, get Birds Eye Steamfresh Lightly Sauced or Whole Grain Blend FREE” coupon from 10/24 SS and pay $1 for BOTH, or .50 each!
If you have the new Dominick’s “Big $60 Thanksgiving Coupon Book,” there are some GREAT coupons in the book that line up to some Jewel sales this week…
Swiss Miss hot cocoa is on sale for $1 a box. Use the $1 coupon in the $60 Thanksgiving book and it’s FREE!
Pepsi products 2-liters are $1.25 each, but .75 each with the instant-savings deal going on (more on that in a minute!) The coupon book has $1 coupons off Sierra Mist, also a Pepsi product. FREE Sierra Mist!
McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract (1oz.) is on sale for $4.99, B1G1F. If you have two of these Dom’s books, use two $1.50 off McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract coupons, one for each bottle. You’ll pay $1.99 for two, or about $1 each… great price BEFORE the holidays…
Perdue Breaded Chicken Tenders or Nuggets (12oz. packages) are on sale for $5.29, Buy One, Get One Free. Print two of these $1 coupons (click the Back button to print a second coupon,) buy two and use one coupon on each. You’ll pay $3.29 for two packages, or about $1.65 each!
If you missed last week’s deal on Fuze beverages They’re on sale for .99, Buy One, Get One Free. There’s a $1-off-2 coupon in 10/24 SS. With each coupon, you’ll pay NOTHING for two bottles!
Banquet fruit pies and pot pies are .88 each, already a good price. But if you go with the fruit pies, use the .35 off coupon from 10/24 SS and take them home for .53 each! (A tiny apple pie to reward yourself for being such a smart shopper this week? I say, “yes!” :)
Palermo’s pizzas (19.8-32.25oz) are $3.99 each. Use this $1 coupon and pay $2.99! (Buy the BIG pizza for the best value — and I know there are some Palermo lovers on the blog! This is a good price for these.)
Tyson Anytizers are on sale for $2.50 a box. With the $1 coupon in the Dom’s $60 Thanksgiving book, you’ll pay $1.50…
Bic 10-12ct. disposable razors (several varieties) are on sale for $2.99. Use the $2 coupons from 10/17 SS or November All You and pay .99!
Tiny refreshing deal (and I do mean tiny!) Tic Tacs are on sale for $1 a package. Use the .75 coupon from 10/3 RP and pay .25!
Renuzit Adjustables air fresheners are on sale for $5. Use this $1 Facebook printable and take it home FREE!
Glory Seasoned Greens (canned spinach, kale greens, mustard greens, collard greens or turnip greens) are on sale for $1.50. Use this .90 coupon and pay .60 a can.
“No Coupon Needed” Deals:
Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite or Coke Zero 24-packs are $5, limit 4.
Splash pump hand soaps are .49 each.
Competitor Coupon Deals
Did you know Jewel-Osco also accepts competitor coupons IF they’re for a competitor’s house brand? They sure do — it’s right in their coupon policy, but many shoppers aren’t aware of it!
If you have the new Dominick’s Big $60 Thanksgiving Coupon Book, there are three coupons in it for store-brand Safeway marshmallows (10-10.5oz) or Safeway powdered or brown sugar (32oz.,) and .50 off spices that line up nicely to sales on the same Jewel-branded items this week.

Procter & Gamble “Spend $20, Save $5” Catalina sale Buying $20 worth of participating products will generate a $5 Catalina. I did not write scenarios for this sale because, again, we JUST saw a much higher-value one with better deals. But, please feel free to post anything you come up with if you put a good scenario together :)
Jewel-Osco has launched a Facebook page. If you have questions directly for corporate, you can ask them there (and they answer promptly!) They’ve also got the free cookware promo under way, so save your stickers from qualifying receipts to earn free pots and pans.
Are you on the Jewel-Osco email list yet? Jewel has been making coupons available for many different products over the past few months, and they’re usually store coupons that you can stack manufacturer coupons with too. I’d recommend getting on their list if you shop there.
Coupon books currently found at Jewel:
Share Something Delicious – here’s what’s inside.
$50 Kellogg’s “Your Ultimate Holiday Guide – here’s what’s inside.
Jewel meat deals:
- Perdue chicken drumsticks or thighs are $1.49/lb.
- Perdue turkey drumsticks, necks, or wings are $1.79/lb.
- 1lb. packages of Perdue 93% lean ground turkey are $3.99, B1G1F – about $2/lb. when you buy two
- Jewel’s running a “Buy Cook’s Spiral Cut half ham at $3.49/lb., get Jennie-O Turkey Breast free” sale. Last year this sale was a lot of fun — buy the SMALLEST Cook’s ham you can find, while also buying the LARGEST turkey breast to maximize your savings on both.
Jewel Seafood Deals
- Fishin’ brand wild pink salmon or tilapia fillets are $7.99 for a 32oz. bag – that’s $4/lb., a good price for the tilapia, and a VERY good price for the salmon.
Jewel produce deals:
- Value Wise Russet Potatoes are .99 for a 5lb. bag – that’s about .20/lb.
- Yellow onions are .99 for a 3lb. bag – that’s about .33/lb.
- Zucchini, yellow squash or eggplant are .99/lb.
- Baby-cut carrots are .99 for a 1lb. bag
- Red Delicious, Golden Delicious or Granny Smith apples are $1.29/lb.
- 3lb. bags of organic red potatoes are $3.49, or $1.16/lb.
- Organic Gala apples are $1.49/lb.
- Honeycrisp apples are $1.99/lb. ($2.49 for organic)
- Pineapples are $1.99 each, limit 2 – EXCELLENT price!
- Jewel’s also running a “mix and match” 4-for-$10 sale on produce. With a sale like this, try to keep the produce around $1.99/lb. or less for your best buys.
(Anytime meat is under $1.99 a pound (no matter what it is — beef, pork, poultry) it’s a buy in my book, because $1.99 is a cycle low and a good benchmark for meat prices — ditto for most produce. Seafood, by its nature, is more expensive per pound, but a good “buy” benchmark is $4 per pound or less for fish or shrimp.)
Note to my Safeway shoppers reading from outside Chicagoland: In Chicago, Dominick’s currently accepts expired coupons up to one year past the expiration date, so my coupon matchups for Dominick’s deals will include expired coupons. If an expired coupon matchup is provided, it will be noted with (exp) after the date. Also, in Chicago, Dominick’s does not double coupons (as other Safeway stores do) – if your store doubles, you’ll do even better with many of these deals. Also, in Chicago, previously-available ecoupons are being rolled into the “Just For U” section of electronic coupons available at Dominicks.com.
Before we even get into the ad and sales for Doms this week, I have to say that their weekly flyer continues to amuse me. The last few weeks, there have been so many little oddities in their flyer, like the $50 store gift card contest that’s only open to residents of California that ran for two weeks straight in their ads.
This week, their Guaranteed LOWEST PRICE on Frozen Turkeys promotion looked pretty good… until you start reading the terms.
We will match any competitor’s coupon advertised price on USDA Grade A frozen turkeys. Just present competitor’s coupon, clipless coupon or ad to your checker. All competitor’s rules, guidelines and coupon terms apply.
(So far, so good. But then, I continued reading…)
Price match does NOT apply to free turkey with purchase offer, Honeysuckle, Butterball, Empire, Jennie-O, Zacky Farms brands and all fresh turkeys. Offer good through 11/9/10.
If anyone finds a frozen turkey in town that is currently SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than .69/lb and is NOT a name brand, please let me know… but knowing sales-trend-wise that it’s unlikely to see turkeys too far below .69/lb. this early in November, it looks like Dominick’s won’t have to worry about too many people “taking advantage” of this promotion. The only place in town that has a non-major-branded frozen turkey below .69/lb. is SuperTarget, who is selling Market Pantry frozen turkeys for… (wait for it…) .68/lb. And they’re not requiring a $25 minimum purchase. O-kay.
And now… some ACTUAL deals at Dominick’s this week :)
If you haven’t bought Toy Story 3 on DVD yet (and want it!) the current deal at Dominick’s is pretty good, but the coupon involved expires TODAY, 11/8. The 4-disc Blu-Ray version is $29.99. (Even if you don’t own a Blu-Ray, you may want to do the deal this way, as that package also includes the regular DVD, a bonus disc, and a digital disc for playing on the computer. Print the $8 coupon for Toy Story 3 BluRay from www.toystorycoupon.com. If you buy the disc at $29.99, you’ll also get a free Toy Story 3 sport bottle, an 8-pack of Dasani water, a box of Town House crackers and a box of Toy Story 3 Mac & Cheese. After the $8 coupon, you’ll pay $21.99 for everything.
Reader Kujhwk also points out that this week, Town House crackers are on sale Buy One, Get One Free, so you’ll actually get TWO boxes free if you do this Toy Story 3 deal!
While last week, many stores had it for $24.99, if you consider the value of the bonuses, this is pretty good too. Also note that last week, some readers had issues with Dominick’s refusing to accept the $8 printable coupon, even though last week’s flyer ADVERTISED it on the back with the URL to print the coupon from. If you anticipate any trouble, go grab last week’s flyer from the recycle bin and bring it with you..!)
And technically, yes, Dominick’s does accept expired manufacturer coupons after the expiration date, so you could, in theory, do this deal later in the week. But with the hassles some people have gotten over the coupon, it might be better to use this one today.
7.5oz. Softsoap liquid soap dispensers are on sale for $1. Use this .50 printable and pay .50! (Note that there are a lot of expired coupons out for Softsoaps, but they are the 8.5oz size, not 7.5oz.)
Also hit its print limit fast..!
“No Coupon Needed” deals:
Safeway 64oz. cartons of 100% orange juice are $1.50 each – an excellent price.
Lucerne 18ct. eggs are $1.49 each.
Dominick’s has some “Just For U” card-loadable-only electronic coupons that are new this week. Best ones?
$3 off any $10 produce (one-time discount, but I like this one!)
.50 off any package of O Organics fresh herbs (limit 6)
Gallon jug of Dairy Glen milk (limit 2) – $1.99
12-pack of Coke or Pepsi 12oz. cans (limit 1) – $1.99. Note that 12-packs of Pepsi & 7-Up are also on sale “Buy 2, Get 2 Free.” However, the regular price of the 12-packs at Dominick’s is a whopping $5.99. However, if you want to buy four, it’s actually still not a bad deal. You’ll pay $1.99 for the first (remember again to load it from Just For U!), $5.99 for the second, and the third and fourth will be free. So, $7.98 for 4 12-packs, or about $1.99 each – a fine price.
Oreo cookies 9.6-18oz., selected varieties, are $1.88. Use the $1 coupon from May All You (exp) and pay .88, or use the $1-off-2 from 9/26 SS (exp) or the Jewel “Fall Into Savings” coupon book (exp.) and pay $2.75 for two, or $1.38 a package. There’s also a .75-off-2 in 8/8 SS (exp) and there are also current tearpads for FREE milk when you buy two Oreos! (AND, Nabisco’s Facebook has a printable for FREE package of Oreos when you buy another package and milk!) Whew!
These are all one-shot discounts – load one, use it to the limit, and then it’s gone.
As usual, there are Dominick’s Super Coupons* in this week’s ads too. These are store coupons, which (in the case of the name-brand products) means they can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for even bigger savings. You can also now load these Super Coupons to your Fresh Values card via Dominicks.com and not have to clip them. Best bets?
- Lucerne Cream Cheese is .99 per 8oz. brick or tub, limit 3, with Super Coupon (the flavored onions-and-chives, etc are included too!)
- Selected General Mills Cereals are $1.49 each, limit 4, with Super Coupon. If you have any of the $1 off Cinnamon Toast Crunch coupons from the “Better At Home” coupon book (exp,) use them here for .49 Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
- Gain and Cheer laundry detergent (40-50-63oz. liquid or powder) are $4.99 each, limit 2, with Super Coupon. CHECK your Catalinas – I have a $3 Gain manufacturer Catalina that printed within the past month, which would make this $1.99. Otherwise, go with the Cheer and its $2 coupon from the 10/10 PG & get that for $2.99. (This isn’t quite as great a deal with the $1 Gain coupon in 10/10 PG.)
- Kleenex is .99 a box, limit 2, with Super Coupon. Note that the national Catalina on Kleenex is NOT working at Dominick’s. However, for cheap-er Kleenex, use the .50 off coupons in the monthly yellow coupon books from Dominick’s for pretty much most of the year — many have .50 coupons inside.
- Kraft Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise is $1.99 a 22-30oz. jar, limit 2, with Super Coupon. Use the $1 off Miracle Whip coupon from the Jewel “Fall into Savings” book or many other past Kraft coupons books out through the entire year to knock this to .99 a jar.
- Coffee drinkers who are fans of Starbucks Frappuccino or Doubleshot will like this deal — it’s $3.99 a 4-pack, limit 4, with Super Coupon. Use any of these $1 coupons to drop this to $2.99 — 10/3 SS (2 coupons,) 5/2 SS (exp – 2 coupons.)
- Wesson cooking oil and Pam cooking spray are both $2.29, limit 4, with Super Coupon. Use the $1 coupons in the $60 Thanksgiving book and pay $1.29 each.
- Pillsbury Grands biscuits are .99 a can, limit 4, with Super Coupon. If you missed the Grands madness over a Jewel a couple of weeks ago, this is a good week to nab them at Doms. Use two of the $1-off-2 coupons in the $60 Thanksgiving book or the $70 refrigerated/frozen book. You’ll pay $1.96 for four cans…
- Stove Top Stuffing is .88 a box, limit 8, with Super Coupon. There are old tearpads for these for “Buy 3 get the 4th free” that would work well here.
Deals continuing from previous weeks:
Purina Cheweez dog treats currently sell at Dominick’s for $1.25 a package. Buy 4, use the $4-off-4 coupon from 9/12 RP and pay $1 for FOUR bags! Your dog likes good deals too!

*A note on Dominick’s Super Coupons:
What does “minimum $10 (or $20) purchase required” mean? To use store coupons that include a minimum purchase requirement, you must spend a minimum dollar amount on that shopping trip. You will reach the minimum purchase amount based upon total purchases after your Club Card discount is applied. For example, the regular retail price of a box of Cheerios (after Club Card discounts) will count toward the minimum purchase required in order to use the Cheerios coupon.

Note that Meijers in other states are on different schedules. The Illinois Meijers are about a week behind on the sales vs. Indiana/Michigan. If you’re in Illinois, these Meijer deals run through Wednesday. If you’re reading from another state, they ENDED Saturday at your store… Confusing? Yes.
AND, if you shop at the Illinois NILES or ORLAND Meijer locations, they haven’t been following the same sale flyer as the other Illinois Meijers, under the convoluted reasoning that because the stores are newer, people will shop there -without- as many products being on sale. O-kay.
For my Rockford-area shoppers (and Kroger shoppers too!) here are your Hilander sales for the current week…
If you haven’t bought Toy Story 3 on DVD yet (and want it!) this is a pretty good week to do so at Hilander, but the coupon involved expires TODAY, 11/8. The 4-disc Blu-Ray version is $29.99 at Hilander. (Even if you don’t own a Blu-Ray, you may want to do the deal this way, as that package also includes the regular DVD, a bonus disc, and a digital disc for playing on the computer. Print the $8 coupon for Toy Story 3 BluRay from www.toystorycoupon.com. If you buy the disc along with one box of Capri-Sun 100% juices and a 5-pack of Kraft Mac & Cheese, you’ll also get an instant $6 savings. I don’t have the prices on these unfortunately, but all around, you’re looking at $21.99 for the disc set after coupon, plus $6 savings if you buy the other products (likely, a box of Capri Sun and a 5-pack of Mac & Cheese would be near $6 anyway :)
Nature Made vitamin supplements are $4.99 each, Buy One, Get One Free. Because you can buy just ONE item at half-price during these kinds of sales at Kroger stores, here’s a way to work the deal. Use the $2 coupon from 11/7 SS, buy one ($2.50) and pay just .50 a bottle!
Of course, if you have another insert from Sunday, buy another and get that cheap too!

Please read this supplemental post about the way coupons are scanning at Target, particularly with regard to the gift card deals noted below. There is a serious glitch in the way Target’s registers currently scan coupons for multiple items and coupons involved in gift-card transactions. BE AWARE before doing any coupon deals at Target until this is corrected. The Chicago Tribune did a great writeup this week on the issue which was picked up by papers around the country too.
Reader MDShelby spotted a great deal on TGI Friday’s Skillet Meals! They’re on sale for $5.99, and they’re also on sale Buy Two, Get One Free. If you have a third $2 manufacturer coupon for the third bag, you’re looking at $1.98.
Reader Icoupon 2 saw a good deal on Ore-Ida Potatoes too! They’re on sale for $2.25, and are also Buy Two, Get One Free. Buy two of your choice and one Ore-Ida Steam & Mash. Use the $3-off-2 Ore Ida from the Dominick’s $70 coupon book and also the $1.50 off Steam & Mash from the same $70 coupon book. You’ll pay… NOTHING! (Total is $4.50, minus $3 coupon, minus $1.50 coupon.) FREE potatoes!
Market Pantry 10-24lb. frozen turkeys are .68/lb – cheapest in town this week.
(HEY… this turkey would actually qualify for price-matching at Dominick’s, but you’d have to also make a $25 purchase there…)

As always, these deals are guidelines for shopping. I can make no guarantee that these items will be on sale, in stock, or available at your area store. I can also not guarantee your Catalinas will print, your cashier will smile at you while you check out, or that your shopping cart won’t have a broken wheel. But I CAN teach you how to save money :)
And, also, as always, a huge thanks to the many readers who posted and emailed deals that made it into today’s Deals of the Week! We’re all in this together, and I sincerely appreciate everyone who spots and passes along good deals that we can all enjoy :) Thank you… to YOU!
* (All You magazine is not a requirement for using the site, but if you like coupons, you will probably really enjoy it. It’s a cheap ($2.49 an issue) magazine that is absolutely filled with coupons each month — typically $50-$100 worth per issue! You can subscribe to All You online and save about $10/year off the cover price. And depending on the values, if you use 2 or 3 coupons alone from each issue, you’ve recouped the cost of the magazine, and you’re on your way to even bigger savings.)

Natural Instincts #13 “Suede”
How unattractive is that for a hair color name? Sounds like I walk around with a pair of Uggs on my head.
Better than when I decided to change it up this summer with “Spice.” I looked like Ronald McDonald. Good thing its only hair!!

Today’s SS had a B3G1 free coupon for kleenex. Can I somehow figure that into the Jewel deal? I only have one .50 coupon. So can I get 4 boxes and use both coupons?
Or can I get 6 boxes and use both coupons?
Or do I have to get 7 boxes?
Tallgal6 says
The Kleenex cat deal is working with rr’s at Walgreen’s, too, and they have a store q in this week’s ad for $1.09 and it includes the 200 ct boxes. I think the ones on sale at Jewel are smaller boxes? Anyhow, today I got 6 boxes of 200 ct kleenex for $4 plus tax and got $3 back. The cashier was impressed when I paid $4 for 6 big boxes of kleenex…you should have seen her face when the $3 rr came out!
(I used the buy 3, get 1 free q from today’s inserts and I also had a $1 off 1 box that I got in the mail sometime in the last couple of weeks…no idea where from since I sign up for coupons anywhere and everywhere I get the chance).

THANKS for posting early – LOVE IT! I was just wondering if the $.25 off McCormick spices (available on redplum.com or in the 11/7 RP) would work with the Meijer Mealbox coupon? I typically don’t make it to Meijer, but it’s looking pretty tempting this week!
Peanut59 says
I went to your link for the facebook $2 coupon and it said it was expired. :(
nova147 says
The $3 Just for U coupon at Doms is coded for $3 off ONE ITEM. It will take off $3 OR the price of your highest item. For example, if I bought 10 avocados at 99 cents each, it would only take of 99 cents. But it will work on per pound items – like 3 pound of grapes at 99 cents/pound.
It doesn’t expire until 12/31/10, so if you don’t like this week’s deals, you’ve got time!
mathmama says
The walgreen’s purex note say’s ‘use this coupon’ (the .35 one)… I’m new to the site, but I don’t see where the coupon is, or is there a link missing??

Target has Ore Ida products for $2.25, B2G1 free. I got 2 Ore Ida fries and 1 Ore Ida Steam and Mash. Used the $3/2 Ore Ida from the Dom’s $70 book, and the $1.50/1 Steam and Mash from the same book and got all 3 free! This only works if your Target lets you use a coupon on the free item. Otherwise, it is still only 1.50 for three with the $3/2. Also found 200 ct. Dixie napkins on clearance for $1.84.

I wanted to purchase 4 bottles but was not allowed to use the 2 $1.00/2 coupons because the second beeped. Both the cashier and the CS person would not adjust the second coupon to 98 cents so I asked her to cancel the items. The CS person said “We are not supposed to adjust any coupons. They are already B1G1 free and you still don’t want them?” No, I did not want them if I could not redeem the coupons. So no free Fuze for us.

I cut out the coupon from the 10/3 RP has a $1-off-2 coupon like was posted, except it wasn’t $1 off 2 but $1 off Potato Spinach and Feta. I know full well that the Meijers on Randall Rd in Algonquin WILL NOT take off $1 when it’s the “FREE” item (past problems with that store) but the deal of 3 for $5 does not include the Spinach/Feta kind.
So since my inserts are different from yours, how would it be best to do this deal? I’m thinking that you wouldn’t get the $1.67 price for the spinach and feta kind……..
Thanks for all your help!

Old Orchard juice is 3/$5 at Meijer this week. The sale includes the regular juice and the Healthy Balance juice. If you have any of the Kellogg’s coupon books we’ve been finding at Jewel, there is a $1 Healthy Balance coupon included and I believe there is also a printable somewhere. Print the .75/3 Meijer MB coupon, too, and this makes for about .42 juice. Thanks for all the deals, Jill!

I’m pretty new to the site and was confused about the purdue chicken deal at Jewel. Since it is b1g1 how can you use 2 coupons since one will be free? If someone could let me know, I’d really appreciate it! :)

I bought 2 of the 6 oz. French’s Onions, 4 Eggo Waffles, and 4 cans of Dole Pineapple. I thought all of the items were marked with the instant savings tag on the shelf. I noticed after I got home that the $5 savings did not come off of my receipt. Is anyone else having problems with it?

I was trying to access the $4/2TGI Friday Skillet Meal Coupon but it doesn’t show up on the Target coupon link to select. I even tried entering the zip code for the Chicago area but couldn’t find it. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong or is it no longer available? (I’m in Washington state.) Thanks!

The Meijer in Rolling Meadows would not let me have $3 off 2 and a bogo coupon for full value. The register took $1.50 off each Axe, and the cashier subtracted the difference off the 2nd to make it free. Not as sweet a deal as I was hoping….

I registered for the ‘just for u’ 12-pack deal of $1.99. I purchased 4 Pepsi products, but when I checked my receipt I did not get the first one for $1.99. It was only the B2G2 price. The lady at the desk told me that they give the best available deal and that deals can not be combined! I wanted to return them, but it’s an alright deal…I guess.

I just noticed there is an MPerks Q for $1 off 2 Pam sprays. If you have two Dominicks coupon books you could buy 2 cans of Pam for $1.00.
Or you can still just use the one Q and the MPerks and get two for $2.00.
jodi233 says
i had these q’s too. had found them at cvs and when they are scanned they are deducting $2 off per coupon.

I was shopping @ Jewel this Saturday. I purchased 3 Cinnamon Toast Crunch, had a printable coupon for $1.00 for 3 and a Catalina for $1.50 off 3. The register kicked out the $1.00 off coupon. I was told I had to purchase 6 to cover the total quantity needed to be purchased on both coupons.
Has anyone else had this problem? It was the first time It happened to me.

For Jewel’s Buy 10, Save $5″ Instant-Savings sale, can I stack it? I.E Can I buy 20 items in one transaction and get $10 off, or do I need to split my transactions?

I live in McHenry. I did the deal yesterday and had no problem. Also did the Smart Balance, Country Crock, Colgate toothpaste and TicTacs; all with no problem. The individual Banquet pie, however, was not on sale but it was still a nice price and I did use my coupon. My son was quite impressed that for $10.89 we walked out with what we did but when I pointed out to him that we SAVED over $23.21 he was REALLY impressed!

I’ve been to class Jill (big bow to you) & hate to bother, but…usually the B1G1 on meat is with an in-store Q. And I thought at Jewel you can’t use in-store with mfg.q. Am I missing something??

Where can I find the $1 coupons for the perdue chicken at Jewel? I clicked on the print link but cant find it on the Perdue website.
pam and family says
were scanning in at $2 instead of $1. So, you will probably get them all free. You better break it up into separate orders, and have other items to absorb the possible overage. Although, I realize that you’ve probably already gone, as this is the last day of the sale.

can anyone tell me where to find the coupon books at jewel that are mentioned in this weeks deals of the week?
phinfan says
I’m a newbie. I attended the first class, ordered my Tribune & All You, and have been watching some of the deals the past couple weeks (the grocery deals have scared me a little with the Catalinas but I think I understand some now and will try next week). I’m going to attempt some of this week’s deals at Walgreens and CVS tonight. I am wondering a few things –
1. How do you get these coupon books at Dom & Jewel that you all refer to?
2. I’m a soon-to-be new mom and want to start buying diapers and formula. How do I know what a good deal is? There are so many brands, package sizes, etc and I have tons of various manuf. coupons to use.
3. How do I know what manufacture an item is? I see references to save your Proctor & Gamble receipts, send XX amount of receipt dollars in and get additional coupons. Is there any easy way to determine the product’s manufacture?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks for the help!!
