Pure Protein bars are on sale for .99. Use the $1 coupons from August All You or October All You and get it FREE! The 9/19 RP has a $1-off-2 for more cheap bars.

If you’re a coffee drinker, you might like this little deal! Buy any 31.5-34.5oz. Maxwell House or 11-12oz. Starbucks coffee at $6.99 and get a FREE box of General Mills cereal. (Ad shows Reese’s Puffs, Cheerios or Golden Grahams.) Make this better with a coupon… the 9/26 SS and the “Tastes of a Winning Season” coupon book found in stores have $1 Maxwell House coupons, and if you’re a Starbucks drinker, use the $1.50 coupon from September All You or a $1.50 printable or the $1 coupon from 9/12 SS1 to drop the price.

Here’s a fun little Catalina deal on Glade jar candles. They’re on sale for $2.50 each. For every two you buy, you’ll get a $2 Catalina back! Use the Buy One, Get One Free coupon from 9/26 SS, pay $2.50 and get $2 back! You’ll pay .50 for two, or .25 each!

Reader Avenger points out that the September All You has a $1.50-off-2 coupon! With this, pay $3.50 for two and get $2 back…

Like pierogies? My daughter does! And when they’re on sale, it’s time to stock up. This week, Mrs. T’s Pierogies are on sale for $3.49, Buy One, Get One Free. Buy two, use two $1 coupons (one for each box) from either the new $70 Dominick’s frozen foods coupon books or printables and pay $1.49 for both, or about .75 each!

How about a little chicken nugget deal? 10-ounce packages of On-Cor breaded chicken nibblers are $1.25 each — great per-pound price.

“Spend $30, get $10” Procter & Gamble Catalina sale Buy $30 worth of P&G products and get a $10 Catalina! Jewel meat deals:

• Fresh chicken thighs, drumsticks, whole fryers and leg quarters are .99/lb.
• Fresh split chicken breasts or wings are $1.99/lb.
• Jennie-O grade A frozen bone-in turkey breast is $1.99/lb.
• Jewel’s also running their recurring “Fav 4” meat deal. Buy any 4 packages tagged “Fav 4” and pay 10 for all four. As with anything, your best bets here are going to be things that are close to $1.99/lb.

• Jewel’s also running their “Fav 4” deal on produce – buy any 4 items included in the sale (see ad for specifics) and pay $9.99 for four. You do have to really watch your prices here though, as many of the things are -not- the best prices with this deal — Fresh Express salads are $2.50 (! good price for them is $1),) 1lb. strawberries are $2.50 ($1.99 is a good price,) etc.

(Anytime meat is under $1.99 a pound (no matter what it is — beef, pork, poultry) it’s a buy in my book, because $1.99 is a cycle low and a good benchmark for meat prices — ditto for most produce. Seafood, by its nature, is more expensive per pound, but a good “buy” benchmark is $4 per pound or less for fish or shrimp.)

Note to my Safeway shoppers reading from outside Chicagoland: In Chicago, Dominick’s currently accepts expired coupons up to one year past the expiration date, so my coupon matchups for Dominick’s deals will include expired coupons. If an expired coupon matchup is provided, it will be noted with (exp) after the date. Also, in Chicago, Dominick’s does not double coupons (as other Safeway stores do) – if your store doubles, you’ll do even better with many of these deals.

Stack those with the $1-off-2 store coupon on Meijer Mealbox. With $5 in coupon value on your two $2.50 dressings, you’re taking two bottles home… FREE!

Cinnabon Pancakes are super-cheap this week! They’re on sale for $1.67 a box. Use the $1 coupon from the 8/15 Parade (Tribune insert) and pay .67!

Keebler Fudge Shoppe cookies are a good buy this week too. They’re on sale for $2 a package. Buy two, use the $1-off-2 coupon from 8/15 RP and stack it with the $1-off-2 store coupon from Meijer Mealbox and pay $2 for two, or $1 each.
