Hi Jill- It was nice to finally meet you at the Niles Library. I already knew 90% of what you were talking about, but my friend that I brought with me, did not know about any of this, and she was glad I asked her to come with me. We stopped in at hmart after the program, and my friend got a lot of fruit and veggies as well as some kimchee and some tofu. She was going through the huge selection of bottles of kimchee, and was trying to figure out which ones were the mildest. As my friend was putting a package of Driscoll raspberries in her cart, I told her about the rewards program for Driscoll.
I also posted about the program over at LTH forum, where I was not sure what the response would be. One time one of the posters over there told me she did not have time to hit five different stores every week looking for bargains. Somebody over there saw my post about the workshop, though, and knew that I had mentioned you several other times on the site, and Cathy was intrigued, and decided at the last minute to attend even though she lives in Highland Park. She was pleasantly surprised that you only advocated buying a three months supply of most stuff. She was afraid that you were going to be another extreme couponer who has 100 bottles of detergent sitting in your garage. Thanks, Nancy
